City.

I love the city. I love taking photos of the views. Especially at night. It's just so spectacular.
I went to this event last year, called "Vivid". It's a festival of lights, music and ideas here in Sydney.
Basically, it's an art of light projection on the Sydney Opera House and the Customs House.
Below are some of the photographs I have taken during then night I went.

A little GIF, I made of the art at VIVID.
As you just saw, VIVID is really amazing to see and just sit back and watch. They did many
other wonderful projections that makes everyone literally go "wow" at soon as they see it.
I'm hoping to go again this year!

Here is a video I found on Youtube on this year's VIVID.

The Moon.

I have this fascination with moons, especially full moons. They're so interesting to look at.
I have taken a few photos of the moon, but the shots below would have to be my favourite
as you can see the characteristics of the moon clearly.

Autumn's almost gone and Winter's nearly here.

Another season has almost finished. Here comes the cold weather!
I have taken some shots when I went to Kuringai National Park.
I really love the colours of the leaves on this tree. So pretty. Actually, I just love Autumn.

The day we went was heaps chilly and rainy.
Fortunately, we had a mini-barbeque to keep us warm for the day!

Drive to Manly Dam. (short post)

Last year, I remember going to Manly Dam with my family and relatives for a little get-together.
We had a small picnic and the males went fishing, but unfortunately didn't catch any fish. Here are a just a few random shots I took on the way to and at Manly Dam.

Long exposures.

Here are another two photos I have taken that are long exposures.

Long exposure of street and traffic lights using Sony NEX-5.
Long exposure of Christmas lights using Canon EOS 1000D.
So basically to get this effect, you set the ISO to 100 (though you may want it higher if you're exposing for only a short time), set the shutter speed to whatever time you want, preferably 10 seconds or longer, also you need to set the F-stop (aperture) to a high number to enable the lights to stand out better.

Since the lights aren't movable on their own, I had to zoom in and out multiple times to get the long exposure effect. This doesn't need to be done if you're taking a photo of for example, cars on the road driving and things like that.

Doing long exposure photography is one of my favourite as it's fun to do and the photos look good!

The Gummy Bears vs. The Snakes.

This was an assignment I did for IST in 2009/10 with a friend. It consisted us of doing a stop motion video. We decided to do a gummy bears vs. the snakes "war" type of theme.

Hope you enjoy! I'll be posting a few more stop motion videos in the future.
